Is TotalTrack compatible with my current operating system?

Is TotalTrack compatible with Office 97 or lower?

TotalTrack is compatible with the standard version of Microsoft office (all versions) however if you have Microsoft office professional, or Microsoft access installed there are some dependencies you need to be aware of. TotalTrack is written in Microsoft Access 2000. The program will not run under earlier versions of Microsoft Access.

What if I have Microsoft Access 97 or lower installed on my computer?

If you are not using Microsoft Access you can uninstall it from your system. TotalTrack will install a runtime version of Access 2000 on your system. Alternatively you will be required to upgrade to Access 2000 or higher.

What if I need help installing or using TotalTrack?

Is TotalTrack a multi user system?

Yes, by networking your PC's you can have multiple users at no additional cost.

What are my minimum hardware requirements?

  • 1 GHz or higher processor
  • Stand alone or networked client computers: 1 GB or higher RAM
  • Server computer: 2 GB or higher RAM
  • 19 inch or larger Monitor with 1280 x 1024 or higher Resolution
  • Hard Disk Drive, one CD ROM Drive
  • At least 200 MB free disk space
  • Media for backup, i.e. Zip, Jaz, Super Drive, Tape, CD, DVD, etc.
  • Mouse, Track Ball, etc.

The text/ font does not display correctly and appears to be oversized. Can this be fixed?

Basically, if you have a high resolution screen at install time, Windows will install a larger font set (125%) by default. If you then choose go back to the standard font size (100%), Windows will keep some of the large fonts even though everything else is adjusted for standard fonts, causing programs that use these fonts to break because the text will not always fit inside the GUI.
